imgstore publishes original landscape and skyline illustrations that anyone can download and use.

How the images are made

Every scene is composed in code: layered ridgelines, sun and moon glow, water reflections, tree lines and city blocks, tuned by hand for colour and balance, then finished with a touch of film grain. Nothing is scraped, traced or taken from other libraries.

Why it exists

Presentations, thumbnails, blog headers, phone backgrounds — good-looking backgrounds should be one click away, with no account and no paywall.
